Places to visit with Lou Doillon

I wasn't aware that another Birkin girl had made a record - the first one, of course, being Charlotte Gainsbourg, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin's only child - till I read a recent update on the Californian radio station KCRW's blog.
Leaving aside the peculiar fact that the editor was stunned to find out who she was (I don't mean to sound arrogant but... she made a glamorous cameo, as herself, on Gossip Girl, she must already be of some kind of fame), I decided to go with the flow and follow, with equal excitement, the link to one of Lou Doillon's new songs.
Places, the album, came out in 2013, and it contains some beautiful songs. Unlike Charlotte's vocals, which resemble a whisper more than a song, Doillon has a maturity and strength in her voice that make her stand out, bringing it all to life with dreamy, intimate videos.
